Karl began his roofing career with Ribroof, a prominent New Zealand-founded company renowned for its expertise in metal building construction. During his time there, he gained invaluable experience managing crews and overseeing the erection of metal buildings. His journey took him abroad, where he worked in Florida and upstate New York for two years, expanding his knowledge and skills in diverse roofing environments.

Upon returning to New Zealand, Karl continued to refine his craft by working with various roofing companies. Each experience contributed to his growing expertise and understanding of the industry. Driven by a vision of excellence and a commitment to quality, Karl founded Dixon Roofing. Since then, he has leveraged his extensive experience to build a company renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to client satisfaction.
